How to Use:

Soak the bamboo chasen in warm water for 2–3 minutes before use. This helps soften the bristles, preventing breakage and allowing for smoother whisking.
Add your sifted Ceremony Matcha powder to a bowl.
Pour in warm water (not boiling) and use the chasen to whisk in a zigzag motion, creating a light foam on the surface of your matcha.
Once the matcha reaches a frothy consistency, you're ready to enjoy!

Care & Maintenance:

Cleaning: After each use, rinse the chasen gently with warm water. Avoid using soap or abrasive cleaners to preserve its natural bamboo fibers.
Drying: Shake off excess water and let the whisk air dry in an open space, ideally on a whisk holder (kusenaoshi) to maintain its shape.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight to prevent mold and cracking.
