Cupping is the standard method in the specialty coffee industry for evaluating coffees, aiming to eliminate brewing variables and provide an unaltered view of a coffee's quality. Consistency is crucial, so we recommend following the SCA's suggested protocols.
These bowls are tailor-made for cupping. Crafted from thick, heavy ceramic, they feature calibration markings at both 150ml and 200ml. Choose between a white or dark brown inside, aiding in "blinding" tasters to the coffee's color during tasting.
