Introducing a new way for Bootlegger customers to pay. Customers can now pay with Bitcoin and crypto using the QR code on Bootlegger bills and at the POS. More than 6 million South Africans have Bitcoin and crypto, so we’re excited about making it possible for them to spend it at Bootlegger.
Here’s how it works:
Scan your bill or POS QR code and confirm with your Bitcoin App. The POS receives confirmation.
Which Apps can you use?
Which cryptocurrencies are supported?
You can pay with Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency supported by their wallet.
Refunds should be issued as cash for the Rand amount. Refunds in Bitcoin or crypto are not supported.
Loyalty Points
You can scan to pay with Bitcoin and then use their Bootlegger app to redeem loyalty.
