Bootlegger is recruiting for a Marketing Manager based in Cape Town. This is a permanent position; salary is negotiable depending on experience and skillset. The successful candidate will be part of a team that works on a variety of projects. 


  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring maximum ROI for all activities
  • Analyse data and measure campaign performance, using insights to optimize future campaigns
  • Manage the marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support as needed
  • Serve as the primary brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and speaking engagements


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in marketing, with a focus on campaign concept development and strategy
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a marketing budget and delivering measurable results
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively



  • Managing all marketing for the company and activities and research.Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives and trends
  • Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
  • Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Creating a wide range of different marketing materials.
  • Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
